There may be statistical inferences about the potential improved patient outcomes, but nearly everytime I hear this I never hear about the AI solution from a patient's perspective. My concern is that our technological suggestions must include the voice-of-the patient otherwise patients will continue to feel marginalized in a system that nearly always feels foreign and adversarial. The rapid proliferation of artificial intelligence in healthcare settings necessitates a fundamental reorientation toward patient-centered design principles. This third law in the Seven Laws of Clinical AI Excellence establishes the Patient-First Foundation as an essential framework for healthcare AI implementation.
