About Me

About Me
A symbol of the AI journey ahead, one that belongs to all of us.

AI in Healthcare Insights is written and curated by me, Dan Noyes, a certified patient leader, strategist, and lifelong communicator navigating the intersection of chronic illness and intelligent systems.

This project was born out of both frustration and hope. After living through years of medical complexity, I came to realize that while technology continues to advance, the human experience of care often falls behind, especially for those of us managing long-term conditions.

So I made a pivot.

Drawing on over two decades in digital strategy and a growing foundation in AI and health systems, I now focus on one big question:

How can we use AI to make healthcare more human?

Here, I explore that question from both sides of the exam table — as someone who understands what it’s like to live with a chronic condition, and as someone building tools and frameworks to improve care. You’ll find insights on AI in diagnostics, care coordination, patient engagement, and the ethics of automation. But you’ll also find something else: honesty, lived wisdom, and a deep respect for the human stories behind the data.

What I'm working toward

  • A healthcare future where AI supports healing, not just efficiency
  • Systems that work for people living with complex, invisible, or chronic conditions
  • Thoughtful, trustworthy technology that clinicians, patients, and families can rely on

This is more than a newsletter. It’s a vision. And I’m grateful you’re here.
